The Schumacher Cougar Classic 1/10 2WD Buggy Kit is a rerelease of the original Cougar, with modern features to handle modern power systems. Some of these features include fitment of modern 2S shorty LiPo batteries, updated transmission allows for 17.5T brushless power and fiber reinforced drive belts. The cougar classic is built on an aluminum chassis with independent front and rear suspension. Aluminum front and rear shocks can be tuned using provided shims. This buggy uses the 14 ball, ball differential, invented by Cecil Schumacher in 1978. Adjustable turnbuckles are used front and rear allowing you to dial in the setup for your driving surface. The motor is positioned higher in the rear of the chassis to aid in 2WD performance, as well as jumping and landing. A period correct polycarbonate body is included to finish off the iconic styling.
